For some reason, I can't "start a conversation with JohnMurray4173." I don't know why you would be blocked. Let me ask around and see if I can get some tech support.

Turn on Conversations, or what used to be called Private Messages ~~There's nothing showing anywhere yet, does it take some time to come through?
Yes, it should say, "Allow user to:" Then there will be an option: "Start conversations with you:" Then you have the option of clicking "Members only" on the far right.Turn on Conversations, or what used to be called Private Messages ~~
* They are called "Conversations" and are found under the little envelope at the top right of the page. To check that they are enabled, click on your username next to the envelope and then go to Privacy. Under "Allow User To" you will see various options for conversations. (These are the instructions as far as I know at this time. If wrong, please let me know.)
This person's info should be helpful:Okay, I'll send it via a "conversation," which should show up if you click the envelope symbol on the right side of the blue bar at the top of the forums. Not sure why the other message didn't get through, but there have been some software glitches in this site as they attempt to "modernize."
The envelope should say "conversations" as you - what is it called, hover? - your cursor over the symbol. They could make these things a bit more user-friendly.
