Good news is everyone can create a random email address and use Deepfake to disguise themselves. So if you did have nefarious intentions you are out of luck.

I don't get it either.

It takes 2 min to create a gmail account. And I would think most people here already have an extra one and didn't use their main email to register for Lit. I have had email conversations with probably a dozen people from here (under a different username), ONE, just one, used an email with a different name than what he stated. I told him about it, he thanked me and fixed it. Everybody else had emails custom created for their Lit type activities.

A picture ... You have the whole internet at your disposal! Get an image off LinkedIn of a random guy of about the right age from your city and you are done. If the OP runs a reverse image search she might find him, but so what? She is going to message him on LinkedIn to check that it's the right person? Probably not.

And the stories about her two friends being burned by messaging... Em... Who in their right mind gives out their phone number?! Use Kik, Whatsapp or whatever else and disable notifications just for that app. It is not going to ping, ring, or make any other noises when a message comes in. Same with Lit PMs. You *can* set it up in the app that it screams when a new message comes in, but you don't have to.

Who is both the post and the comments are written for? Idiots that use their corporate email for cheating and give phone numbers to the lovers?
The risk of using emails because of revenge porn? Really? Are we still in 1995 when everybody had just one email at best? Or in 1998 when one needed an invite to get a gmail account? Lit is an old site, so it's rules were written long before technology changed and anonymity became an easily achievable thing. No need to change them every year, but there is no need to rely on them for protection either.

1.I specifically put that I trade vids of me for a face pick yet guys still message me to say they don't or down the road. Which is just a waste of time, I found many of those guys just like to jerk off while messaging you or just like to talk which is fine on their end. And I can't seem to stop people from doing that, if I ask for a face pic for vids the discussion should end there.
2. I tell them to email me a face pic and they say they have one on here and then i have to explain to them that I don't send facial naked pix or vids on here but I will privately. And they don't understand why. And then I have to explain to them all over again, DENSE.
3. Some of the guys I do exchange with seem to think this site is like a text site, it's not. I don't let anyone text me. WHY YOU ASK...well I am married and we all have left text on our phones I had two friends who were seeing guys or trading with them and the guys kept texting or message from the site on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on GET THE PICTURE...one day while my friends were either taking a shower or busy with the kids they left the phone alone and these guys kept texting and messaging and finally the husbands got curious and check the phone thinking it was an important text or message and bingo it's the guys next thing you know they are divorced.
SO MARRIED LADIES BE CAREFUL....
4.So i will tell other people about this site and think it is great but until guys realize it's not the pony express to be used as a phone it will be dangerous for married women to do anything on.

Interesting topic, even if the OP is a looney tune.

Over the years I have traded hundreds of pics, audio clips, videos and voice calls with a number of women all in the name of sexy fun. With the right person exploring sexuality this way is thrilling. I am sure many people here agree. It’s one of the many reasons we all come to Lit in the first place.

If someone asks me for a face pic right away, I don’t engage with that person. It takes a while and the development of a lot of trust before I will show my face. I also never ask for one.

All that nonsense about her friends getting busted by their husbands makes no sense. What does that have to do with showing your face to a stranger before sexting?

There is something very arousing and exciting about this engaging in sexting and voice sex without seeing what the person looks like. I met someone here who is close enough where we can meet in person, yet I have no idea what her face looks like. That turns me on even more.

If a woman wants to show me her face that’s fine. It’s not a deal breaker if she doesn’t. However if a woman wants me to send her a face pic right away before we have had any opportunity to get to know each other, that’s a deal breaker for me.
