I thought it might be fun to do a more long term before and after, as in spanning almost 30 years. Damn, I had a tiny waist back in the day! I've gotten a lot more hairy since then too, except on my head.

I'm not sure what it is about the today picture that pulls me, although Icy's point about feeling drawn to a similar age to your own is a good one.

The today hands are very alluring, though, you're right. Strong. And the thumb hooked over the waistband makes me shiver just a little bit. It's like a statement of intent

Before I put them together, I imagined I looked similar now to how I did then, just not in quite as good shape and carrying a little extra weight here and there. Putting them side by side, there are a lot more changes than I expected. Some parts I like better from back in the day, but I was surprised that some features I prefer in the mature version.

Now if only I can come back in another 29 years and do this again. That would be an accomplishment.

As many of you are aware, I had surgery on Monday (hernia repair). I just wanted to let everyone know it went well and I am on the road to recovery. For you fur lovers, I am sorry to have to report that they shaved my tummy. It's gonna take a while to grow back.
