HEY! Whatchoo lookin' at!?

NOT for LadyJS!

I stumbled onto a thread in the BDSM Cafe featuring that theme of Erotic art —

Drawn Out Suffering - BDSM Drawings, So I added some of my related imagery.
Though, much of the other content is too "extreme" (too sadistic for my tastes, yes, I understand the S in BD/SM)

It seems LadyJS is busy elsewhere.

Anyone else gonna chime in on types/content of erotic illustration that they like?

Subject matter.
Style.
Technique.
Explicit or suggestive.

This would get a thumbs up from me. This is more my speed.

(I kinda figured) ;)

Dealing with a migraine the last few days. Staring at a bright screen was not on top of my priorities list.
Understood.
Have dealt with them myself.

Relatively recently ditched the prescription and the Excedrin® and caffeine via coffee, pop, etc... INTENSE for a while. May be effective. Too early to be conclusive, but seems promising. I have an appointment in July.

I happened upon a book — Heal Your Headache Paperback – by David Buchholz, MD

Don't know about giving up coffee, and decaf just doesn't cut it for me.

I'll have to check this out. Used copies are cheap online, maybe my library has it, an even better option.

I get that, but if caffeine is a contributing factor, well, for me, it was the thing to do. Difficult for certain. Good luck.

So, to the original question, the consensus seems to be — "couldn't say"

So Lady JS seems to have left the building. Lots f that going on.

.I find " Drawn Out Suffering" to be a bit over the top for my taste. Since its the BDSM Forum, people can ask / talk about that freely.

I have enjoyed your efforts in this area in the past. What have you got in mind?

Did she? awe., that's too bad. Oh, I see that now — reads as "guest" and n/a :(

Agreed on the "Drawn out...", it would not make sense here, as it is collected work from non LIT artists.

I just was wondering what other folk are looking for, hoping for, found here (in this corner)?

Well?

What do you like to look at, as far as erotic art* goes?
(* excluding photography, cuz)

The question is posed to everyone, especially the visitors.

Me:
• Non-violent (though, maybe a bit sm/bd-ish)
hand drawn/painted (can be digitally drawn/painted) — not, filters on photos or CGI (poser/Daz) figures.
• sometimes "romantic", sometimes subtly suggestive, often explicit.
• women, couples, occasionally men, rarely (not never) groups.
• fantasy/mythology/sci-fi
• hentai, ukiyo-e
• full color or grey scale or black and white

Me:
• Non-violent (though, maybe a bit sm/bd-ish)I enjoy mild BDSM. I'm not into giving or receiving significant pain, but wifey likes to be restrained. I think my / our limits are close to yours
• hand drawn/painted (can be digitally drawn/painted) — not, filters on photos or CGI (poser/Daz) figures. Definitely hand drawn. I like your style. I have commented several times about the little details you add.
• sometimes "romantic", sometimes subtly suggestive, often explicit.Again, as romantic or as explicit as you like. I enjoy both sides of your art.
• women, couples, occasionally men, rarely (not never) groups.I like your couples a lot. There is a particular woman who keeps appearing. She's gorgeous. Or am I imagining a vaguely-Asian looking curvy woman? An occasional solo pic is good too.
• fantasy/mythology/sci-fi Yes, yes, yes. I especially enjoy your fantasy stuff. My writing tends towards a bit of Sci Fi on occasion.
• hentai, ukiyo-eHentai, sure. Not quite sure what ukiyo-e is. I looked it up. You do that? I like new stuff.
• full color or grey scale or black and white I think that is the Artist's decision based on the entire work. Sometimes a picture screams for colour. Your piece of the old car in Lover's Lane is a good example.

Now, if you could just get a few others to give you some ideas...

Thanks, TANSTAAFL58.:)

The question was more about erotic art in general, though using my work as a jumping off point is fine.

I was more curious about what people are looking for (hoping to find) or what they enjoyed and were surprised to find. I'm "pulling teeth" here. I know (and appreciate that you comment), but there seem to be folk (not huge numbers) who look in the visual Artists' Corner, but very few responses.
