To bed to spin,
silkworm cocoon of dreams
poems whisper as you settle down
looking for that sweet spot,
thinned enough by your tumbling
to fall past the mattress
sleep

Hmmn? I wanted to write about those moments as you get ready /prepare for sleep, trying to find that comfortable spot, like a dog scratching the earth, turning...

it has a falling down into the rabbit hole feel to it, or a passing through the membrane of the mirror

i like it

sun turned out hot
as the weeds put up a damned fine struggle
and i remembered to wear gloves
that is
till i forgot
having taken them off to use the phone
*looks at grungy nails - sighs*
my butt muscles are achey
from all the bending to the fray
and 2 sacks' worth has been shifted
mailnly from the windy brick path
still, reminded me the garden could look pretty
and the bluebells are ringing
the holly's bright with dense yellow blooms
and several worms and snails
whose places of abode were rendered unfit for residence
have been rehomed in moist green spaces
with a brand new view


snoozy, but have more things to do; there's a steady influx of people with flats interested in the house - one very close by, looking promising.

having no experience in the growing of such,
a long season vegetable that can only be picked
after the first freeze or two,

oh 'eck, sorry - i left a space but someone sent me a message. i'll go move some more posts into email.

been sooo busy, and then refereeing between the at-homes who decided to have a slanging match didn't get much help for long, as no3 was getting tired by the time we started the room and so they only did a bit and then complained for the rest of the time it took me. sometimes you could just throttle them.

i'll go make space.
