My wife was the same way with her ex-husband; he was short and so he forbid her to ever wear high heels. Later, when they divorced and we were married, and being taller and loving a lady in high heels as well; since I did not care she went a little crazy on the high heel shoe buying. At one point she belonged to (3) shoe-of-the-month clubs. Then when buying shoes at a local store, the woman said, "you know I see you in here all the time, so if you love shoes so much, we are hiring"...

She had so many shoes that I built her a walk-in-closet just for her shoes and purses and affectionately called it her "shoe barn".
