I second every bit of this.

Threads like these-although I know Robert is just frustrated and venting-gives the troll a big hard on because they know they upset you. Robert now questioning his story is exactly what they want.

I agree on the comments as well, deleting one leaves the door open for juvenile BS like "oh, what's the matter, you only leave the good comments" or "Truth hurt" and one I have seen on other stories many times "You'll probably delete this like you do the others..."

If you just roll your eyes at it and leave it there...you have shown the troll you could care less, you are saying "I left your snarky remark for all to see because I could care less what you think"

Also shows others that you take the bad and ridiculous along with the good.

Anyway best answer is to ignore these things completely.

I didn't read the story, or the comments...

but I did see you started out with dialogue. I forget who it is, but there's someone who comments in this forum that flatly states any story that starts out with dialogue is no good. There are many patrons of Lit who don't bother reading anything because it slows down their own vitriol comment writing.

That someone was shouted down by most of the rest of us--some backed up with examples in the mainstream. Another case of knowing just a little bit about something being a dangerous platform on which to post as an expert.

You are more or less teaching other people how to be mediocre writers. Your style is extremely crass, creepy and juvenile. You just wrote a two page instruction telling other people how to write bad dialogue based off a poor premise.

Whenever I run into authors who have popularity based on quantity, and not quality it always bugs me. You more so than anyone because in a category like incest where ninety five percent of the authors are awful... you're like the best of the worst, and you actually believe that you're good. You believe it so much you're giving tips. For the love of God... Stop.

On the positive side...at least I'm the best of the worst, at least that's something, right?

But more interesting is how I have no doubt this is from the discussion on this thread and interesting how pilot commented on my obsession with wanting troll votes left up.

This comment was left between 11-12:30 and go check out Pilot's posting history and see who was posting away just after midnight(because he has no life. especially it seems, a night life)

Does that prove, its him? No, but a lot of coincidences and seeing he is quick to claim who trolls who here, I'd dose him with his own game.

Whoever left this? YOu can stroke your little dick that I posted it and anytime you want because it will stay there with the rest of the any mouse bravery dished out on my stories.
