And you are weed free! ( I was just wondering about your garden earlier this week!)

Seed start day is this weekend!
We are going to be gone all next week so I should come home to all sorts of little green shoots (fingers crossed)...

Unless I decide to cut to the chase and buy all starts when we get home.

We are still out of town but headed home tomorrow.
The garden shops better be ready next weekend cuz I'm going to blow back into town like a hurricane and be raring to go!

I've just started doing a spot of gardening, I love it I find it sooo relaxing, but it makes my back hurt.. I spent a bit of time in the garden today planting some seeds...

Very sad post coming your way but...

My Mom brought me some sweetpeas last year (they are my faves they are cheery flowers) anyway I took off some of the seeds in hopie of growing some this year, I dried them out etc and lost them and found them again 😂

I planted them about 14/15 days ago and they are only bloody growing, I'm sooo chuffed as it's the first time I've ever done anything like this.. Would attach a picture but don't know how too.. If some could explain they would be great 👍🏼👍🏼

I save my sweet pea seeds every year and each year they come back more hearty and fragrant.
I can't keep my hands out of the soil. I have a backyard full of herbs and other ornamentals. Whenever I go outside... inevitably, I'll end up in the dirt to pick a weed or something. I do it in my neighbor's yards too, when I visit. I, like, garden by default; I can't not.
Most everything in my yard I got from a start of someone else's plant. I've started so many roses, geraniums, sages, bulbs, shrubs, irises, jasmines, lilacs... Some are starts from my grandmothers' plants: roses, rosemary, sage and oregano...
I never fuss over the planting. I just do it, wish it luck and water as needed. Usually they make it, if not this year, then next. Or they don't. And, I find another cutting and try again.
Geez, who knew I was gonna go on an on like I did. Not me.

My Sweet pea babies... 😁😁😁

From about 30 seeds I've had 20 shoot, got some other seeds shooting I'm sooo chuffed

First harvest off the blackberry canes.
Actually it's a half harvest - only one side of the row filled the hod box. I have to go back after it cools off this evening.
