I wonder how long I'll have to wait for the penny to drop that your ridiculously uncreative insults don't bother me. Yes, calling someone you've never even seen before ugly on a message board has certainly never been done before, and it's sure to make me cry in misery. In contrast, your posts tell their own story for anyone who's bothering to read through this thread, and in case I have to spell it out for you, they're making you look like a naive, petty jerk.

Ask anyone else on here, or consult an internet netiquette site. Caps are considered shouting by a vast majority of internet users on message boards. The fact that you don't think so doesn't change that fact.

And just to clarify... when did I state you were pissed? What the hell is that first line all about anyway?

I'd say that taking something written by someone else and submitting it to an Internet Web site as your own was, at the minimum, obnoxious. Just for starters.

OK, hobofetus. Let me spell it out in very small words. What you did is theft. It does not matter who wrote the story. It was not you and you posted it here as yours. You drew attention to it and sought feedback on it.
That makes you a scumbag.
Trying to justify your actions and getting snotty with people who have the nerve to point out your error shows you to be an arrogant scumbag.
Getting rude and offensive with one of the regular posters (and an all-round lovely person, not that it matters) is the mark of an asshole.
That you see nothing at all wrong with trying to pass off someone else's work regardless of who that was, brother or stranger and argue this with authors is the mark of an idiot.

So, there you have it. This thread has shown you to be an arrogant, idiotic, asshole and scumbag.

Now, if the story hasn't already been removed, I suggest you do everything in your power to fix that problem.

The quickest way to have the story removed would be to resubmit it with - DELETE after the title (Lisa Falls From Grace - DELETE), then paste the story into the story field, same as you would to submit it. Then in the notes field, put "please remove this story from my submissions page" or some such thing. It should take about the same amount of time to have the story deleted that it did to post it.

In the meantime, I'd recommend turning off comments and anonymous feedback, unless you want all the negative responses I'm sure you're getting.

Beyond all that, I won't comment on anything else here, I think enough has already been said.

You don't have to paste the story. All you have to do is fill out the title with the deleted after it and if you want, in the story part, put the reason you want it deleted.

After reading this thread, I think that Hobe there needs to go meet up with a few other of the obnoxious around here. He might do well and get along with them fine. They could start their own club...

Oh. I didn't think to put the 'note' in the story field instead. When I deleted The Mechanic, I had to paste the story. But anyway, it's gone and so am I....at least from this thread.
