... feeling pretty good. Found time to get my nails done. Got a couple of bills paid. Car is paid off next month. *does a happy dance* Of course getting the extended warranty on the car is pretty much going to eat up what I'll be freeing up. *sigh* Trying to get ahead is a bitch. But all in all, pretty damn happy.

I don't have to pretend!

Languorous and itchy all over.

Doc said to complete course of anti biotics before left on vacation.
Turns out i'm allergic to it. :(

I'm still feeling a bit giddy. This weekend has good and exactly what I needed after my week.

frustrated.

Looking at all the roleplays on this site that had great potential, but the person who volunteered to be the author's partner made one post and disappeared. Leaving me wondering why they took that roleplay away from everyone else if they weren't going to make an honest effort. And then there are those roleplays with great potential that are marked (Closed) and have been marked (Closed) for months. What's the other person who volunteered to be the author's partner waiting for? Maybe there are legitimate reasons involved here. I don't know. But there are too many great stories in the roleplay section going untouched.

I'm sorry for the rant, but it frustrates me when a great storyline dies a quick death.

Usually its because Real Life obligations make them unable to continue. That or taking on the thread was a way to challenge themselves and they decided they couldn't do it afterall. If you see one that had alot of potential but wound up going nowhere and hasn't posted on it in a while. Try PMing the originator of the idea about resurrecting the thread with you instead.

One of my first threads was one like that.

What Veroe said is true, but I think some story threads are just cursed or something. I have one, Amazon Sisters of Battle, that I've started about 4-5 times, each with different people, and it never goes more than 2-3 posts at best. I finally just gave up on it.

Mmmm bites....

Absently pokes at the bite marks on her legs...

AHhahaha... Yes mmm bites.

-giggles more watching the poking-

That's kinda like me scratching at the whip marks.

-switches to scratching between shoulderblades-

Well, I always feel like I'm stomping on someone elses turf. I try to contact the author and ask them if the story has been moved to another location because I want to see how the story came out. My subtle way of indicating my interest in the story. I've had only one person agree to eventually repost one of her pieces. I guess I need to forget about being subtle. And stop worrying about stepping on the other guy's feet. Because there's too much great stuff here that's going unexplorered.

I've seen a few examples of good stories that get reposted again and again because the author is cursed to have terrible partners with each posting. I have my name on their list for the next time they repost that story, because I know that I can do a better job than the people who came before me.

Exactly!

I...I may be guilty of poking bruises of all kinds....Purposefully rubbing deep tissue stuff......

Shifty eyes.....

Very true. But sometimes it pays off to repost. I have a wonderful partner now on a story I am absolutely loving. But the first time I tried it with a different writer and it got kind of creepy and finally was abandoned by him. This time around is much, much better! :)
