It takes tremendous character to volunteer. I've a friend who lives in Oklahoma and her area was very hard hit. Somehow, thankfully, her particular neighborhood escaped trouble.

Terrible business, that.

I think of it as the right thing to do. I know if it had been my home destroyed or my family hurt, I would hope someone would care enough to help me and mine pick up the pieces. We've been lucky, missed us this time by about 15 miles from the one in Moore and 5 miles from the one in Edmond. But so many weren't so lucky. I'm glad your friend is safe and sound. The devastation is astounding. It's one thing to see it in pictures, it's a whole different thing entirely to see it right before your eyes. Pictures and film really doesn't do it justice.

Sick...moving for two days straight in the rain is no fun especially when you already have bronchitis. I wish I could sleep and not have to work. The bright side, by June 1st it will be all done ..or my things in the trash , either way I shall be finally moved.
