I have yet to actually have time to do it properly. I've tried to start a few times but life tends to get busy for me at the end of the year. It's totally self-motivated and if you think you can crank out 50K words in a month, you should do it. I've done that on my own plenty of times but I have yet to complete a NaNoWriMo. It should be fun. Not torture. Tends to be both. =)

Totally worth the torture. It's fun! But then again, I'm a masochist so I like torture.
