How much is too much?

I fall into the story before sex category. At one time I liked the more erotic LW stories, but lately pretty much read the romance stories and some LW from selected authors only. A good story with well developed characters and a thought out plot line is much preferable. Like others if the sex scenes get too long or detailed I just skip over that part and get on with the rest of the story.

I think the whole point of Literotica is that you don't have to feel like you need to make a choice. Most of the time, I try for both story and graphic sex--and I think that's why many of us who write gravitate to Literotica. I think it's just fine having stories that are just sex too. There's a lot of room at Literotica; why should anyone force their tastes on other writers and readers (other than the site owners)> And although I don' t see the point of having stories that are just stories, with no sexual arousal intended, on an erotica site, the site owners have established a nonerotic category, so that's just fine too. And I've posted some of those here myself too.

I really don't see the point of "what I want" forum threads on the site story file. There's room for everyone, and obviously readers can find the whole range of what they want to read here (within the site owners' own limitations).
