How To

If I may return to PatCarrington's solution to a tightening of the verbal sphincter;

I am reminded of an interview with Leonard Cohen where he bemoaned the fact that he rarely wrote a poem in one sitting.

"Some of my poems are four or six draft poems ... most are twenty drafts or more."

Now personally, after three or four draft beer I am still lucid and reasonably articulate, but after twenty, (even allowing that a draft beer in this little part of the planet is only 6 to 8 ounces), I am certainly at a loss for words. So lift a glass (make mine a double please) to Leonard and damn the thesaurus.

He just turned 70. I find it hard to believe. Bless his cotton sox.
