How would you feel if clothing was banned in public?

How would you feel if clothing was banned in public?

If you had any insecurities about your body you’d have to face that knowing everyone was going to see you nude.

Do you think you would feel okay with it? Would it be scary?

Do you think people would stare at each other’s bodies? Or would most people try to avoid looking?
YAY!!! When does this start?

I have stayed at a nudist resort. It was very enlightening. I was very comfortable. No body shaming. I also found I am a shower and not a grower.

I think at first it would be pretty nerve racking for everyone and then slowly it would just become the norm as everyone would have to adapt. However the winters would be a whole new ball game in how the heck you kept from freezing.

Spent two week stints at a naturist/nudist resort. Absolutely freeing and so comfortable! The climate was perfect and there were lots of hiking, biking, swimming and dining for everyone.

Wouldn't bother me any. However I can see a lot of people being very insecure and struggle with it.

Clothes are worn everywhere because they're practical. A clothing ban would be ignored as silly nonsense.
As a nudist, I agree. I read a definition of a nudist somewhere that said that a nudist is a person who believes that when it it is not necessary to wear clothes, then it's necessary not to wear clothes. It takes into account the fact that there are plenty of circumstances where clothing makes sense.

I think that it's nobody's business to be policing what people should or should not be wearing. It's a layer of law enforcement that we simply don't need.

It would be no different than living in a nudist resort, it’s very natural, we are all the same we were born without clothes.
we would all be use to it! more relaxing and less stress!

I'd freeze. Even now - it's 18°C outside, next week might be only 13°C anymore. I don't even handle bare legs if it's below 22°C but need stockings or long skirts/pants. We have maybe 2 months in a year when daytime temps outdoors are warm enough to be naked outside for a any length of time.

Otherwise, it would quickly become normal and nudity would cease to be sexual. Probably clothing would be considered sexual after a while.

It would also promote the knowledge about what real bodies look like, some realism.

But think in the business world. You go to work, whatever job you have. From an office job to police officer to customer service, whatever, wherever. Clothing is there for protection as well as fashion. Yes, I am killing the vibe here, lol! Sorry, but the question was asked. How dangerous would that be? You’re a police officer….naked. No vest? You run after a subject who is also naked. Male police officer, your balls are whacking all over the place. A female office and you are getting bruises from your breasts bouncing everywhere. Steel worker; no heat protection. Etc etc.

But let’s tackle an office worker; climate controlled environment without the need for safety precautions. She is ovulating. You can see the swollen ness of her vagina. See how red it is. Without clothing to absorb the scent; you would smell her arousal. That would make the males in the office aroused. The females in the office would then see their arousal. Not one bit of work would get done, lol! That one person that you are hoping will ask you out, you see them talking to another. It is obvious that they are both turned on. He is rock hard and she is hard, wet, and red. It would be very primitive. Intense emotions would happen.

Yes on vacation it is different, in a nudist resort or on a private beach, you are usually with your significant other. If you are not, then it is intentional and you are looking. Now all of you don’t jump down my throat about how you can go be nude and not be looking. If you enjoy being nude, as I do, there is your house, your yard with the trees surrounding you, your pool, etc etc.

With that being said, there are many people that I would enjoy seeing nude. About 5 or 6 in my workplace. ;)

However, there are many that I just wouldn’t want to see naked. Nope! No thank you. But you cannot pick or choose.

So sorry if I threw cold water on this fantasy. :(

But it is interesting to muse over. :)

I guess that I should add that there are only a few places I've been to where clothing is absolutely banned, and that is in the swimming pools and hot tubs at nudist resorts. The excuse is that the residue from swim suits and such clogs up the pipes. That may have been a problem back when they were made of wool and cotton, but now with synthetics it may not be an issue. (Back in the day, some pools required women to wear swim caps for the same reason.)

That's what many men fear when asked if they'd go to a nude beach or resort. But it almost never happens.
My recent holiday with my wife, lots of hot topless ladies on the beach. I had to go hide in the sea!
