Trust me Trent, you need to get to a bookstore and find a Calvin & Hobbes treasury. Nothing even comes close. Hagar is good, but it's bush league (pun most definitely intended) comparatively speaking.

Unfortunately, no. The author decided to stop writing it, as he said he was running out of ideas to keep it true to the original ideals.

I can't believe that, myself, but he was a unique sort. He absolutely and categorically refused to endorse ANY by-products of the strip, like t-shirts, stuffed animals, etc., etc. A purist, I guess. Still, his work is legendary.

And all the strips are available in bookstores in various volumes.
