If you woke up covered with little red dots and itched from head to toe, you'd probably think "Measles" or "Chicken Pox". You would likely be right. So I think I have "Measles".

However, because I've had both the above illnesses, I could (and did, oh Lord, did it hurt) get Shingles. Until I got 'em, I'd never heard of them.

So I think I have one thing (probably do) but could be wrong until I hit the doctor. Today's cheery bit of news didn't make it better.

I have also been feeling a little old lately and not in a happy way. I've been faced with my own mortality and dealing with that hasn't been fun.

My parents had a (more or less) lakefront home for almost 6 years. Lucky them. I have been walking most of the summer to keep a bit more fit, but not today.

I spent 20 minutes in my neighbor's pool, with her oldest and a couple of other 20somethings. I had to get out when I downed two, 20 oz bottles of water.

It's just too hot!!
 
I am home now but the fans are going and it's not too bad. I don't open the blinds in weather like this.

omg

I got caught in the rain today, soaking wet from head to toe even down to my underwear, so when I got home I took off all my clothes and put them in the dryer,
