I totally understand about discovering that there is a new PM waiting for me. Sadly, though, the mystery and wonder before clicking open a PM tends to be stronger than any feelings once I've read it.

The "hey how r u?" or the "ur pix is hot wanna chat thx" messages come more often than not.

Totally agree with you. Or if I hear one more pick up line revolving around the Dewey decimal system and how they'll make me dewy between my legs as if it's the most genius thing they've ever uttered I'm going to vomit. Really?? Something intelligent, witty, and original is what sparks my interest.

I hear that - a couple of people I can't just rattle a short answer off on my phone (this by way of a public apology). Being new (and male...) they're still not exactly commonplace but I have spoken to some lovely people so far

Of course there are the things that turn me, mature women, stockings, curvy women, etc. But I think the real thrill for me comes from logging on and seeing there's an unread message waiting for me. There's an exciting possibility that someone out there is showing an interest. Even though I know it's not gonna go anywhere, or I can sense the person isn't going to reciprocate my interest, there's nothing quite like opening a message from some strange woman. It's like a surprise gift that could be anything. That hope that there could be a treat for you in store. Anyone else feel me on this?
