Went to the store without eating breakfast. Ended up being after lunch time. Had to eat something, so I bought a couple of hot dogs for a dollar.

I never know what I'll be in a mood for. Early rock and roll, Motown, funk, blues, classical, Nat King Cole, Big Band/swing, Native American Pow-wow drumming and flute, African vocal chanting, calypso, celtic, bluegrass.....just about anything, depending on my mood.

The sad thing is, this sort of thign didn't used to happen when I was on my own. At least, not as often.

Myself, I just get lost in my own head and forget. I also forget to drink something when i am thirsty. Which means i have a serious hydration issue. drives Mistress insane.

Well, those are two good picks. You just need a wider variety perhaps.

Trust me, it is. The best way to to explain it is... If you're peeing clear, you're overhydrated.

Do you drink a lot of caffeinated soda? My doctor told me that can actually dehydrate you, even though it seems you are drinking all the time.

I do that after every ER visit for dehydration... of course that is because i have to sit there for a few hours while they put two bags of, i guess its salene, into my system via IV.

me? Nope. I barely drink soda...I drink a lot of coffee and tea though... but doctors prefer I drink that than nothing because i am weird about water. I am actually hoping that the new fridge we are getting tomorrow has yummy water.

Saline Solution. They had to do that to me a while back when I went to the ER throwing up. And yeah....basically, clear pee is a sign that your body is lacking on basic salts and nutrients. In other words, you've peed out the nutrients your body should be using.

oh i know i have low potassium... they tell me that is why i get kidney infections every time i get dehydrated... I am also banned from eating ramen. although in these economic times i have ignored that so that I can eat something.

lol. I love Ramen, but I try to make it authentic. I know how to make the soup base for it (not the stuff you find in the packaged stuff, but authentic ramen base)

I eat the packaged stuff but i doctor it... a lot. I add cheese and garlic and onion and crushed reds and a little curry... I like to put smoked sausage and kielbasa in it when i can.. if not ham or bacon works too. ooh and broccoli I love broccoli in it.

Never tried those combinations. But an authentic ramen base is pretty simple. Soy sauce and beef, chicken, or pork bullion.

you should try it. it's nummy. cheddar cheese is the best.. at least with the packaged stuff.

I've had that treatment too, as part of the pancreatitis. Nothing to eat or drink but those constant IV fluids. Plenty of peeing, and very hungry by the end of four days.

I don't think i could do it for four days... four hours usually sets me on edge.
