wow, really? I was about to log off when i read that... i am shocked at you, raven. lol. I prefer newer rpg's (not on the game consoles though) things like vampire and werewolf and wraith and changeling.

I know...most of my geekitude comes from anime, video games, and classic stuff.

About the only even remotely similar game I'll play is Magic: The Gathering. Most of my gaming I limit to video games, though I did find a Battletech game that I liked. Probably because of the Firefly mech my friend built that I used...won the game by lighting half the field ablaze.

i don't see how Magic: The Gathering is even remotely similar... you have all these cards and it takes no imagination really... just strategy.

The way I think of it is imagining the fight scenes in Troy, or 300, or Gladiator, and imagine how you would describe it in writing. In my case, I'm a DnD geek girl from way back when it was still dice, pencils and paper, so I'm used to describing a fight with medieval weapons.

Yeah, it's a great movie! My niece actually turned me onto it. She had watched it in Literature class when they studied the Odyssey. I love the duel between Achilles and Hector.

Sorry to say this, Dragon, but to us old school gamers, Magic the Gathering, and in fact, all those card type games, are little better than pokemon. It's like how a person who grew up in the 60s or 70s feels about those old GI Joes compared to the little 4 inch ones. I once went to a collector's show, and I thought a fight was going to break out when an old timer was arguing with a 80s generation about which was the 'real' GI Joe.

That's obvious. The real GI Joe is the original, full sized figure with the removable jacket and armor (note I grew up on the 80s GI Joe and still feel that way, unlike most of us 80s generation)

With that he moves to the wolf and drops a kiss on her Cheek. Clasping her shoulder briefly silently seeking the comfort of a friend he hasn't seen in a while, and giving likewise. "I hope you are well Lady Wolf." he says softly. He waits to see if she is still around to respond, if not he will simply vanish to his real world bed where he is off to soon anyway.
