O.K., I won an immunity. How do i go about using it?

This is copied from the first post in the thread:

Winning An Immunity

If you've won an immunity, the first thing to do is make a post in this thread (and only this thread) that you've won an immunity and which category you will use it for. This is the only way you will earn the immunity.

You have until midnight GMT on the following Tuesday to make an Immunity Post here once you've won. After that time, you have lost the immunity.

Do not edit the post after midnight GMT on Tuesday. If you do so, your immunity will be invalidated. This post is the only way we have to verify the immunity and the category you choose.

First off, congratulations. :D

Choose a category that you know beforehand you won't fill. If you use an immunity, that category will count for bonuses as if you had a submission posted in it.

You have until next Tuesday at midnight GMT to post to this thread, saying in which category you will use your immunity.

After that, write it in on your own scorecard, indicating the date. For example:

Category
--------------------------------------------------
10 stories in category bonus (5):
Point Total: 2
Stories In Category:
- Immunity: February 9, 2005

PS: Thanks, Box- ;)

I was about to change to 33- would have worked out either way, lol as both numbers came up! Now, I'm slightly torn- but I'll stay w/ 22 for now:)

Anyway, I will take my immunity in Text with Audio. Thanks.

Just a little announcement about the immunity rules:

The deadlines for choosing numbers and for claiming immunities are being bumped from Tuesdays at midnight GMT to Wednesdays at 7:30 PM GMT, which is the deadline for actual betting in the UK National Lottery.

Those who won immunities last week and failed to claim them before Tuesday at midnight have lost them already, because this change is only coming into effect now.

Those who wish to choose or change their numbers for this evening's drawing, though, can still do it until 7:30 PM GMT, in approximately three hours and thirty minutes.

No, an immunity closes the category and you can't add anything else to it. :)

Ahem... ;)

Non-English stories and poems: Submissions in all languages are eligible for the contest and must be posted in the corresponding categories as applicable. There will not be a specific non-English category in the scoreboards. All submissions must be original work of the entrant, and subsequent translations in any language are not eligible for points.

Due to the recent changes in Literotica's indexing structure, non-English will soon cease to exist as an index category. In addition to this, there have been many complaints from non-English-speaking readers about the flood of poorly bot-translated Survivor entries that degrade the experience of reading Literotica. It is our feeling, and Laurel's as well, that our first and foremost obligation as authors is toward our readers, and we are all authors above being Survivor entrants. The current changes are being made to guarantee not only the adjustment to the site's new reality, but also that the influx of poorly translated stories stops, and to make the contest equally accessible to Literotica members of all nationalities and/or languages.
