We had a lot of rain here too. Especially from Lunch to 2pm.

A lot of rain out here on the West Coast as well. Been cool and rainy, which has been nice after two dry months in the 90's or higher.

We are are getting so much rain that my plants are lush and my grass is like a jungle...which I do need to mow today. I should be mowing it every week right now.

I don't think you are that far from me so you prolly get it first and then we get it. I like the rain and am not complaining at all about it but I hate having to mow so often. Everybody is like "I pay to have someone do that for me" But It's an opportunity for fun sometimes and helps me realize what else needs to be cut back or cut down. You can't even see my fence anymore. It looks like I have this magical green lush wall surrounding my back yard.

If the grass is that high and you are riding the mower double it might get bogged down. LOL
You can have the blades sharpened but it is quicker to just put new ones on.
Having the same problem here in Clearwater area and it seems like it is going to keep up for at least a week.

Good morning, we woke to super cool here on coastal NC but coming down Tampa way for work soon please no rain, lol. We had almost 20" from Debby

Daily afternoon rains here from monsoon season, our grass is growing like crazy, can't go a week.

Ripped out most of it not in our backyard or was a pain to maintain with turf, so the actual yard we kept for the dogs is quick and easy to mow.

I actually enjoy it even when it's hot like this. I was able to get about 95% of the weeds. Now that I'm sitting back taking a heat rest, I can see some that I missed lol. I'm not doing the other one today.

Yes. I had to go over some spots 3 times though. I need to learn to put blades on it. Or better yet figure out how to get under it. I know I could figure out how the blades go in but it's heavy

you need to "paint a pic" of how you look while twisting, turning, and jiggling on that riding mower! For me, I'm imagining overall shorts with no top. Just the suspenders holding it all in!

Changing the blades on one of those gets involved. You could do it if you have some ramps you can drive it up on so you can get underneath the deck. No fun.

I know. I have a friend with a lift, but I might just pay someone to avoid headaches.
