At least it's reasonably happy here. I cancelled the first day of classes on account of the eclipse. But, Mother Nature is a bitch and decided it would be funny as hell to storm all day.

Nevertheless, there are no classes and my boy is home for the last day before leaving to return to college tomorrow.

And... on top of that, I finally made a cheesecake that didn't develop a huge crack down the middle.

So, all in all, this birthday is still in the "plus" column.
