Today I had 3 classes and an off-campus meeting with a community member. Just now got home. Tomorrow is my CS class, meetings, and my business night class. So, I'll be at school from around 10 am til 9 pm. Then, I'll breathe on Wednesday.

My off-campus meeting was with an individual I met through LinkedIn. Turned out he was looking for a job and just wanted to make new connections through me. That's fine. Poor guy. I'm sure it's rough on him.

Anyway, we met at an upscale whisky bar. It didn't take long before I noticed the man sitting across the bar from me. Middle-aged, salt and pepper hair, suit jacket over the back of his chair, and looking my way surreptitiously, as well. It was a real challenge, after a while, to focus on the individual with whom I was meeting.

As my discussion ended, I'd sort of hoped he'd come over and make up some excuse to talk to me. But, alas, as I was getting up to leave, another man approached and shook his hand. Fantasy averted.

Maybe next time...
