In what fast food chain do you eat the most?

I could tell you why I hate Seven Eleven but it'd only sour my good mood and no one ever understands until they do my job with me with slurpees running and then about halfway through that first day with slurpees running they look up from carrying all those tiny tiny ridiculous boxes and tell me: "I get it now. I hate Seven Eleven too."

*man hugs*

On a brighter note what restaurant or fastfood chain have you ever eaten that perfect cheeseburger?

I'm still in search of the fundamental cheeseburger experience (I'm extremely picky about the subject).

He's gone now. But.

Marco's Famous.

Marco Villei came here from Lebanon, and he picked up his meat fresh fromt eh butcher every day. He made patties at 6 am every morning, and he didn't freeze them. He formed everything to 6 oz of cook weight AFTER cooking. And he never used grease on his grill. Or oil. Just water, and the natural beef fat, of which there was just enough.

And if he ran out of meat. He closed the grill for the day.

I paid 14 dollars for a burger. JUST a burger. And not once did I ever feel ripped off. He made me quads. Which was four patties. 24oz of the best hamburger beef you have ever had.

He closed shop and went somewhere a year ago. Sometimes I still cry about it.

Five Guys makes a good burger, with a boatload of fresh-cut fries for about $10.

Burger Monger is another very, very good burger joint with meals at about $15 or so, but it's only in one city in the world, far as I know. But man... Even better than Five Guys.

Veroe's rules for the fundamental Cheeseburger

1. The fundamental cheeseburger is the basic fundamental cheeseburger cooked and crafted to a sublime degree. bun, cheese, meat, lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, mayo, ketchup, mustard. Just the basic fundamental cheeseburger done perfectly.

2. If you wind up wearing and/or more of the cheeseburger toppings spills out than you eat it is not the fundament cheeseburger.

3. If the bun falls apart due to too much juicyness from the toppings and burger meat it is not the fundamental cheeseburger

4. If it needs chiles chili onion straws barbecue sauce thick angus beef patties or bacon or anything than the ingredients in item #1 it is usually a half assed add-on to cover up a mediocre cheeseburger and is not the fundamental cheeseburger

5. If it needs a steak knife or toothpick in order to stay upright it is not the fundamental cheeseburger.

6. If its circumference is larger than the circumference of your mouth it is not the fundamental cheeseburger.

I imagine requisite #4 will be the most controversial in this list.

None really come to mind when talking about a great cheeseburger. Personally, I'm more fond of making my own.

I wish I could say Chik-Fil-A, cause it's so damned tasty. But they have to be bigoted overly religious fuckheads and ruin the delicious chicken for everyone. Their sweet tea is pretty damn fine, too. Assholes.

Anyway... I'm more into cooking than fast food, but if I want a good burger, and since there is no In-N-Out around here, I go with Five Guys.

In-N-Out. I would welcome the warm embrace of heart disease to eat there often.

Wendy's has a really delicious Berry-Almond Salad this time of year. I've ordered that from the drive through in a pinch. You should stay away from Fast Food joints, though. Terrible for you.

I like Taco Johns (if you know what that is). Sooo good. I like Wendy's too.
