Finally I make a post that took me far too long, and that's once I started working on it. I miss how much I used to post every night no matter how tired I was. I think I'm a better writer now than I was then, but I miss that constant posting that I would do.
"First thing is first. Ideas." I sit at a table with a blank page of loose leaf before me. I tap my pen on the wood. Its a little nice than the kind that comes eight to a pack, but not much. Solid black with a cheap metal clip on the cap.
Tink Tink Tink Tink.
Across the top of the page I write, "Prodigy." The letters are large and lazy. Then I wait a bit longer before simply underlining the single word. The idea isn't fixed enough to advertise, but its a start.
"The setting isn't set yet, but here is the basic concept. I will play someone who is a veteran of a dangerous field who typically works alone. A mage or warrior, a master of espionage or soldier of fortune, or really anything in that vein. My character has recently resurfaced after having disappeared for several years. I'm looking for a young woman who while struggling in her chosen field, has a great deal of potential. Being offered the chance to work with a living legend would be hard to pass up, but what is the price she will end up paying?"
Its not perfect, complete, or even quite right, but I'll slap it down here anyway.
I doubt anyone I know is up at this point, but I stay vigilant for visitors while I continue to think, trying to add things to the list I've started.
