Interracial Category

And so what if it was focused on his skin. I said this waaay back in the thread and said it at least one other thread: being attracted to someone's skin color is no different than being attracted to someone's hair color or eye color, or a tall man or an hour glass woman. It's just a physical trait. It's not racist at all.

I used to work with a (white) woman who specifically was attracted to black men. She especially liked when they had a bit of a flesh roll on the back of their necks. It's not racist. It's just something that turns her on. Likewise this (English descent) guy in our circle of friends once told us what he liked in a woman, he didn't like blondes. He liked dark haired slender Mediterranean girls, like Greek, Balkan, Italian etc. It's not racist at all. It's just what turns him on.

Call it a fetish even. No one shames a big tit fetish. No one shames a size queen. No one shames an ass man. These are fetishized body parts. We rarely even see backlash against men who love their Asian girls. So an Asian girl is a fetish, a black man is a fetish. It's not racist. It's just what turns people on.

He has a French accent, she's turned on. She has a Mississippi accent, he's turned off. Who cares? It's not racist at all.
Oh, I agree with you wholeheartedly. My second wife loved the color contrast, so once or twice a year, we would find a hookup for her. I was actually referring to what 90% of the IR category consists of, which is the IR porn trope where little white wife loses her mind and her shit over thuggish big black cock

As I mentioned in my other post on this thread, I do like the black/white woman relationships and find it really hot. But I find it really difficult to find something I'll actually read because so much of it is like that. It's repetitive and wrong.

But it is what inspired me to write my own black man/white married woman story because I was struggling so much to find what I liked so decided to make something myself.

Yes. I have a completed White man/Asian woman story ready to submit for publishing. There are some references to the racial element that keep the distinction in the reader's mind, but nonetheless it feels more like Erotic Couplings to me.

I think the main thing for interracial is that the race is somehow an element of the identity of the partner or a central driver of the story. If it’s about a misogynistic racist who keeps using racial slurs while sodomizing the Asian woman, it’s probably and IR story, in my view. Or, in my case, there’s an explicit reference to how the female MC loves the white guy’s big cock.

If it’s that the couple just happens to be from two races and it has zero effect on the plot if they are both from the same race, I don’t think it matters.

Personally, without racial slurs, I emphasize the Asian-ness of my Asian characters mostly through culture and language. Talking about “almond eyes” gets really boring (and inaccurate) really fast, and Asian skin is no more yellow than white people skin.

Of course, I’m writing in the “fetish” category, so interracial is hardly the most taboo thing in my series, lol.
