Interracial Non-consent Story. Thoughts?

Cynicism? I'm the one being optimistic on this thread on the worth of nearly every story on Lit. to some group of writers and readers--and on their right not to be harrassed and instructed by others.

Not this time. As I said below, I am trying to work out the difference between a "rape" story and a "rape fantasy" story. I wasn't disagreeing with you, only trying to probe your response a little deeper. It is beginning to appear as though this is but another example of a distinction without a difference.

Seems to me a "rape story" would be one in which the woman (well, usually) is forced to have sex against her will and does not enjoy it.

A "rape fantasy story" would be one where the woman is more acting out a fantasy with someone and pretending. But that's just my take.

Why? Because to some in this forum, this distinction is crucial. "Rape fantasy" stories are acceptable for publication on this site. "Rape" stories are apparently disallowed. Since I am assuming that they are all fictional accounts (would anyone write a rape confession story?), if there is any distinction between the two it has to be something other than "rape" stories are true but "rape fantasy" stories are imagined.

I may want to write such a story some day, but I don't want to cross the line into the forbidden zone.

I think you're wrong. The "Non-con/Reluctance" category would encompass rape under "non-consent." Now, many people may write stories where the woman ultimately enjoys the rape, but that's total fantasy to me, and unbelievable, and so I don't read them. They're welcome to write them, but it's not my thing.

I think you may be arguing the wrong thing, or in the wrong way.
