The damage was already done.

It seems Magic, that the damage was already done, because I just had to wipe the hard drive. The computer kept crashing, and although wiping the hard drive is a drastic measure it did cure the problems I'd been having. My computer has stopped talking to me, which is a good thing.LOL

I was getting worried there, the next thing you know, they'll be taking over the world. I put the firewall back on, and hopefully it will never happen again. Thanks to you all, for helping me out.
