Is Hairy the New Shaved?

I hate hair!!! I won't go down on a woman unless she's shaved or really neatly trimmed. I also believe if you want someone a certain way then you must be willing to be that way as well. So I'm shaved too and trim most of my body hair as well.

I've tried bald, full bush, little designs...the only ones I ever got complaints for was fully bald and a full bush. So I figured fuck it, I'll meet it in the middle. I keep my mound full (though my hair is sparse so no matter how long it grows you can always see the skin beneath), and my lip area bare. Everyone seems to enjoy it. Doubt I'll change it, now.

here's another side. discussing this with my and she said there are a couple of reasons she doesn't go for bald.

1. itches too much when it starts coming back.

2. she , like many women will not sit on a public toilet seat so she hovers. she said with no hair is sprays every where including her clothes. she won't tolerate that

I definitely like her shaved below the clit, nice and smooth for my tongue to drive her crazy. Above though, she shaves, but I've recently said she could do what she likes. I began to trim myself several years ago and find it more exciting and think she likes it without so much hair tickeling her nose when she's sucking me. Started shaving my balls only about a month ago. I think she appreciates that too.

Ok it's 31C (87F) in Toronto today with 64% humidity. How does that change your furriness, or lack thereof?

Shaved or natural

I have been with two ladies who had gorgeous full bushes - their legs and pits were shaved but they had lovely well groomed but hairy bushes.

Hairy for me ;)

Nooo, clean shaven all the way

Not nice to stick your face into a bush

How long do you think it will be before someone out there develops the "Pubic Toupee. That way, you can have the best of both worlds. One day shaved, the next, apply your pubic toupee and...voila! Instant bush! Use depending on your lover's preference. Available in multiple shades and styles. Want to fool them into thinking you are a natural blonde? Match your pubes to your Miss Clairol #93.

Apparently these were all the rage in the 1450's...called a merkin.

Brilliant.

A new pussy/cock every day. Collect the whole set.

Both

She prefers smooth and shaved, and I'm good with that during spring and summer. But during the winter months, I like a full grown, natural bush. We compromise.
She asked me to keep my man parts well groomed, and the rewards are well worth the few minuets with a razor.

Aphroditiac thanks for the info and links. I'm jerkin' thinking of her sexy merkin! Too funny.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I like a little hair....trimmed for sure....but not a baldy. I suppose the bald pussy still has that "pre-pubescent look" that gives me the creeps. Maybe some guys fantasize about fucking underage girls, but I tend to like seeing a bit of a patch.....NOT something you could lose a pick-up truck in, but enough to know this s a woman and not a kid.

It's odd how pubic hair can enter and leave fashion. I believe it was back in the 1700's that the bigger and thicker that bush a woman had, the more sexy it was considered. Women without a lot of pubic hair would wear "merkins", a pubic hair wig, to make it more bushy. I also remembe a porn movie from back in the 60's when the "hippie natural" thing was popular seeing one scene where a woman was "teasing" her patch with a comb to make it fluffier and bushier. Times change, fashions change. Women aren't wearing merkins anymore nor do they wear bustles and hooped skirts. However, who knows, 50 years from now they may be back in fashion too.

But has shaved pubic hair (smooth) ever been in fashion before the 1990s and 2000s?

The Oxford Companion to the Body dates the origin of the pubic wig to the 1450s. According to the publication, women would shave their pubic hair for personal hygiene and to combat pubic lice. They would then don a merkin. Also, prostitutes would wear a merkin to cover up signs of disease, such as syphilis.

OK, but that's not the same as removing hair for purely aesthetic reasons. I doubt wearing a merkin is too popular today, defeats the purpose of taking the hair off.

I really don't mind ultimately. Although i have a preference for trimmed, personality, and intelligence are far more important.

Just wondering...

Is there any correlation to age (my guess is yes) and/or sexual orientation (I have no idea) and the presence of pubic hair?

What is the age range of those more likely to trim/shave/wax? 20-50s? Younger? Older?

Are lesbian women more or less likely to coiffure their cooches than their hetero- or bisexual sisters?

Inquiring minds want to know!

I'm 27 and keep a small bermuda triangle. In hopes a wayward Sailor might get lost in the blonde abyss :)
