Thank you, it is true is it not? I would like to make friends on here and all, but I find it a bit difficult at times. For example, posting on pictures; women, lots of comments and such, feels like anything I say might not be read, men few posts but im straight.

lol, to a lot of people that posts in thread they think that the owner of the threads don't actually read or replie to everyone, well I for one have a thread, and the thread has 282 posts, my pics are indexed in page one and I for one do not expect someone that just wants to know me to go threw the entire thing just to talk to me, so every single one of the posters get replies from me , no matter if I know them from before or if I am meeting them for the first time...and if you don't post how do u expect people to get to know u?

I wouldn't say all do but that is life. I do try to stick myself out there but I often disappear for a few days at a time (which is my fault) so I think that is why it's been slow going for me.

I have trouble responding to threads mainly because a lot of threads have been made months prior to me joining, and it seems many know one another. I do not know how to always join into a thread, seeing it would require me reading nearly 30+ pages of posts most of the time.

What I did to help me start posting on some of the established threads was simply to pick the last couple pages and respond to current postings.

Sometimes its best to just jump in and say, "Hi, I like what I'm seeing" ect... instead of being quiet and saying nothing. It is very hard being new, but it becomes easier to speak after you've taken those first few chances.

One of the frustrating things as thread holder, I think is if you had done some work, and all the responses you receive are via PM... (just a pet peeve of mine) I prefer if you would just say something IN THE THREAD... instead of through PM until I get to know you.

Yes, some people here have been here for many years. Of course they know others, but that doesn't mean that they won't let you into their circle of friends.. Just get out there. Post on what you like.

Yep, I find there are either threads by, or invaded by, trolls and people who are really up themselves.

The nicest/best thread I've found is the UK Poeple thread, although I still haven't broken into it properly because there's such a high rate of posts (which is good), I just can't keep up.
