If I must restrict my comments to your request;
I propose that we reinvent 'manhood' and 'womanhood.'

Let ALL breadwinners, no matter if they swing a dick between their legs or bulge over their bras, be called 'man.'

Let all those who are taken care of, no matter if there's a hole between their legs or a flat chest that will never lactate, be called 'woman.'

Those of us who share financial and homemaking with whatever amount of equality, can be called 'unicorns' or something like that.

What about those that are taking care of the breadwinner? Or does "taking care of someone" only count when it's financial? >_< I'm so confused!!!! Where do I fit in in this world??? :drops to knees: KHAN!!!

I like houseunicorn. Am I allowed to buck this new system or..?

The bro you're responding to is a cis woman. She even says so. I'm just saying since you seem to have missed her reply.

no. I caught it. I'll also call a male "sista" if the shoe (or high-heel) fits. Her response elicited a response better than "you tell em girl!"

Um.

Wow.

An especially pertinent point made by a woman turns her into a man.

That's...

Yeah.

No.

point missed entirely

Certainly not the point you intended. You meant nothing but a compliment, I know. :)

But think about the manner of that compliment-- "Bro" because they were so smart!" and how, after someone deliberately identified their gender because it was pertinent to the discussion, you misgendered them-- and in the context of your original post and your sort of global assertions that men qua men have capabilities beyond those of women qua women...

It's oddly pertinent to your original post, don't you think? ;)

I'm going to be rather boring and say what ever u both feel happy with. For me my other half earns the money I bring up our daughter yes I did work ,and yes I will again.
But what's wrong with that. For me I want to have a nice kept house and spend my time with little one before she starts school , and have a meal and a hot bath waiting for Sir. Plus child care is so much money I'd be working to pay that alone.
Sir wouldn't tell me I can't work far from it but this works for us. And when I look at my grandma and grandad who were married 65 years seems it worked pretty good for them .

But that's my little family I wouldn't argue the point to anyone xx
