Hey Quint!

I knew someone on here had said this sort of thing before. I just couldn't remember who. I'm sure plenty of people feel the way that you do, that's cool.

I simply have serious abandonment issues.

You know what would be really wild? From the fan, some sort of damp strings or something would be really creepy. I was in a scare house that did that once.

I'm one of them. (Didn't think it was an oddity.) Does great things for my state of mind, left there to recap the past horrors/imagine new ones. Of course, the intelligent Dom a.) has either left the sub in a non-life-threatening-based-on-common-sense-+-knowledge-of sub's-bodily-limits position, or b.) is really just a room or two away and carefully monitoring said sub's vitals while heightening the suspense. As I'm not prone to spontaneous combustion while tied to the bed, this is effective mindfuckery and not exactly what I'd consider A Big Risk.

And I LIKE the ceiling fan idea! It shows he's using his environment. Not everyone is blessed with hooks hanging from the ceiling or other traditional dungeon equipment. I can't say it'd do anything for me one way or the other to have a rope tickle my tummy in a circular motion, but props for unconventional methods and it's certainly causing me to think about what else could be hanging from there--a blade perhaps, slowly circling above me? And if the rope is lowered, the pendulum (yeah I know, it's a circle, not an arc) descends closer and closer to my skin...
