I've nothing to say...

Seems to me you answered your own question. The hair, long, soft, and killer curl-come-body wave stays. ;)

Yeah, but on the other side there's the lovely velvety feel of a freshly buzzed, but not Bic'd, scalp.

Of course, there's the whole sunburn thing, but I have hats and do-rags for that...

No cutsies.

VT wants the opportunity to run her hands through it while it's long.

:D

Velvet certainly has it's appeal ...

Darn it, VT!!!

Cut that out!

Nope.

Well, I can't argue with that statement.

In N.ATX tonight, house sitting.

I figured a cycling route that is out of traffic, thus reasonably safe.
16 miles from door to door.

Most of it down hill (to Town Lake) and not too bad a climb up Lamar.

The return is mostly uphill from the river to past Great Hills & Jollyville.

Figured it will probably take about the same amount of time as public transport, maybe a bit less, and possibly only twice as long as driving (depending on traffic)

Do I feel crazy enough to go for it, or lazy enough to punk-out?

Think I'll have another drink, maybe go for a swim (place has a pool!) and mull it over...

Thread revival what what!

So, did you go for it?

No.

I need to have a few test runs, so I can accurate gauge my speed and establish my route.

The thing is, one of the dogs is very old with some pretty hard-core mobility issues. her over all quality of life is good, but she literally needs help getting to the yard so she can do her business.
I need to be here more and in transit less so she can get her pain meds on time. It's not about me and that selfish I ain't.

After she's gone, the ride will be no issue. The rest of the critters are young and healthy, with easy access to the yard.

After a long day, a nap and a shower, I'm now wide awake and wondering how well that bottle of non-alcoholic limoncello will mix with vodka.

Only one way to find out....

I should eat dinner as well....

So, not bad.
Found some stale pretzels and some smoked, salted almonds.

It's like I'm at a bar, except I'm both bartender and customer, the bathroom is clean, and a place to sleep is only steps away.

Life is pretty fuckin' good sometimes!

Vodka IS dinner. It's made out of potatoes after all.
