I've noticed that I smile a lot when I read your posts. Just thought I'd tell you.

I do too. Sometimes I have to suppress the laughter when I just think about what I've posted. It's very awkward when other people are around.

Oh, I'm sure it is. People can be so alarmed by laughter when it doesn't involve them.

oh bless. couldn't stay away, right?

when you are able to demonstrate your ability to comprehend and constructively critique poetry, i'll bother to listen to your opinions. till then, bye bye, johnnie.

My one-bombs speak for me. Listen to what they say.

couldn't give a shit, to be honest. you mistake me for someone who cares about votes. i rarely visit my poem pages and it's been quite a while since i subbed one here. we all know the score about voting and understand feedback/critique from those we respect as knowing their stuff is what counts. so feel freeto one bomb away. doesn't even register as a ripple on my radar.

If you didn't care youd ignore my post. But I intend to change big hearts and little minds here. Youll come around.

you're wrong again, but i'm used to that. to someone as you present yourself to be, a high vote for a poem you've written might feel really reallllly important. for those of us who've been here years, we understand the vagaries of the system. we don't have the same expectations or reactions that, for example, those writers in the AH might experience. our poetry is a different horse altogether.

you can quote e.e.cummings all you like, and he is a writer i've grown to admire over the years, but the fact remains that - to date - you have offered nothing constructive or meaningful to any thread on the poetry forum. applauding others who have is not tantamount to offering your own insight. ergo, i still assume you lack it. until you are capable of showing otherwise i don't see you changing anything much very quickly but, yanno, good luck with that. everyone needs a windmill.

Its all subliminal, dear, and has little cat feet to sneak around your vigilance.

JBJ is a bloviating walrus faced wanker.

I haven't cared enough about ratings or comments to even submit any poetry here in the last 6 months. I prefer the interaction in the forum side of Lit. Especially the challenges.

I already know my shit is rarely knock-you-out-of-your-panties poetic and don't pretend it is. If I make people laugh or they begin singing along to mystery music in their heads triggered by my choice words, I'm happy.

If I posted to tell you every time you made me laugh, I'd have a much higher post count. I should help make you happy more often. :)

It's always nice to hear I've had an effect on someone in ways other than nausea, vomiting and diahrea.

I can't speak for anyone else, but that's not been a problem so far. You did get me to chuckle again. so there ya go.

Sometimes they are, James. Sometimes they are.

You've sworn allegiance to the AFFIRMATIVE ACTION nonsense that awards plastic tee ball trophies to all. In the last day or two I came across an observation of a famous writer who confirms my proposition that writing must have a point readers are able to recognize and embrace.

BUTTERS and the gang believe poems are the harvest from a state hospital art therapy program.

I've sworn no such allegiance. The poet, of all writers, is under no obligation to make his or her writing transparent to all. Far from it. It's part of the beauty, and the value, of poetry that it is not always easily understood.

I was once paid 25 pounds for a poem published in the "Farmers Weekly."A UK publication, now sadly defunct.:)

JBJ has yet to comprehend that writers can use the Internet for more than just attention whooring.

And readers know theyre cheated. Poems should be a different perspective NOT self absorbed mind games. I've read one LIT poet with a clue, I think the name was ALWAYSHUNGRY? or whatever.

There's your problem, Doofus. You have to read more than one Lit poet.
