Jared Lee Loughner was just an isolated incident, right?

You're not aware that anyone has blamed Palin ... and then in your next post, you blame Palin.

I did? I thought I said ... "Most people know crosshairs when they see them"

Listen, cupcake. You're out of your depth in a puddle. Stick with c/p.

And nothing.

So then we know.

were you one of "them" that jumped on Sarah for having a hair and make up person on her trip to Haiti?

just another example of how f'ed up the left in, in their rush to place blame.

I can think of 10 companies that use the 'target' mark in their advertising campaigns, were these companies also responsible for this shooting?

what about the store, "Target" I get that they are also responsible...

foolish, foolish....

It wasn't just the left that jumped on Sarah. Maybe in your rush to post something, you might want to research a little. Just sayin'

Are those companies "targeting" specific people to be defeated in their advertising?

FFS, people. Do I have to post a picture of an apple and orange?

No.

Should I repeat my question? You either missed it or you're a dishonest partisan hack.

Yes, you did. Unless now you're trying to say that your "crosshairs" comment wasn't at all related to Sarah Palin's use of them on a map targetting districts to defeat.

That would be a little hard for you to explain when the article you linked was titled:
Tim Pawlenty Criticizes Sarah Palin's Crosshairs

You're not being honest, and it's very obvious.

The fact that Congresswoman Giffords is a political moderate who just days prior to the shooting voted against Nancy Pelosi’s bid to continue as House Leader has been all but ignored by the media.

On the George Soros-funded Daily Kos website, there existed a long rant over Gifford’s vote, with the author repeatedly asserting Gifford was now “dead” due to her vote against Nancy Pelosi. Daily Kos has since scrubbed the posting from its site, but the evidence was saved and is still accessible. Daily Kos had put a bullseye mark on Congresswoman Giffords in 2008, wanting Giffords to be eliminated in the primary race due to her too-conservative voting record.

Where in all of that am I blaming Palin for the shooting?

You're being a ditz. And it is very obvious.

Similarly, your "Crosshairs" lack hatching...

Not really ...

But a Palin aide named Rebecca Mansour told a radio talk show host that the crosshairs were actually—wait for it—surveyor’s symbols.

Here’s the exchange, as reported by Slate’s Dave Weigel:

MANSOUR: I just want to clarify again, and maybe it wasn't done on the record enough by us when this came out, the graphic, is just, it's basically -- we never, ever, ever intended it to be gunsights. It was simply crosshairs like you see on maps.

BRUCE: Well, it's a surveyor's symbol. It's a surveyor's symbol.

MANSOUR: It's a surveyor's symbol. I just want to say this, Tammy, if I can. This graphic was done, not even done in house -- we had a political graphics professional who did this for us.

I can’t decide which possibility is more startling: That Mansour actually believes what she is saying, in which case she is an idiot; or that she merely thinks everyone else is so deeply stupid that we’ll believe it, in which case her stupidity would also be matched with cold cynicism. [Photo Gallery: Gabrielle Giffords Shooting in Arizona.]

Here’s the problem, as Weigel and others have ably pointed out: Palin herself has played up the notion that the map was populated with bullseyes. Politico’s Jonathan Martin points out that after the election she tweeted about the “‘bullseye’ icon used 2 target the 20 Obamacare
-lovin’ incumbent seats?”

Bullseyes ... crosshairs ... splitting hairs?

Google crosshair images and you'll come up with variations just like Palin's.

It is beyond stupid for Palin to try to claim that her gun imagery wasn't gun imagery. She looks a 3 year old with chocolate all over her face, insisting she never touched the candy - i.e., this just makes her look like a juvenile twit.

This is not a new controversy. Many people (including Ms. Giffords) objected to the target map when it was originally posted. Including some of Palin's own supporters.

Hey, it's the Democrats who put sniper crosshairs on JD Hayworth...

They have no higher ground.

I'm not saying they do. In fact, I've said there is blame on both sides. This attempt to bring land surveying into this is comedy gold though. Desperate times bring desperate measures, I suppose.

Back to the same damned thing.

When we're blaming Republicans, we're all hate, outrage and about the hypocrisy.

Come to find out, it's a Democrat thing and it's *shrug* they all do it, whatareyougonnado...
