A lot of shit has changed down there, then again, a lot of shit has gone down. Just gotta try and hang on to what traditions you can TC, it's the same way around here. Things just keep going down and I barely recognize my city anymore.

My paternal grandmother's family is from the bayou. My husband says I take after them more than I do the uppity French Canadian side of the family.
