Not at all, in fact I think a lot of guys love it that way. I think a lot of us have just ended up discussing the different methods that we use and such. I've already said that I shave all of mine off and I have been doing it for so long that it's actually strange for me to have hair there at all.

The one thing that I will say if you've never tried it at all, it's definitely worth trying at least once, especially if your partner will do it as well. The direct skin on skin contact is amazing!
