Why do so many men answer these questions for the women? I'd like to see the women's point of view from more women and less men that think they know a woman's desires or thoughts.

I’ll give you a female POV. It was only after I met a man 10 Years my senior when I was 22 did I realise the difference between boys and men.
The experience, the confidence, the maturity was evident immediately, in the way he spoke, the way he acted, and eventually the way he made love.
I never went back to dating guys my own age. Even now as I’ve aged myself, I still see the attraction in an older man. I’ve never understood the mentality of a ‘cougar’ but everyone’s different

I know this thread is addressed to ladies but I saw this guys post & wanted to reply. Yes, it's life affirming - a lot of us older guys are in sexless marriages for one reason or another - the lack of intimacy can become a deadening experience to the life force & run down confidence and feelings of attractiveness, etc.

I had a 3 year intimate relationship (mostly long distance but she came to my city for a long weekend) with a 42 year old German woman but about 6 months ago she wanted to find a life partner whom she could come home to at night which is understandable (she has a 8 year old boy & broke up with her partner 3 years ago).

But my feelings of being somewhat deluded that my age didn't matter to my attractiveness, hit me.

We are still close in ways - but I don't know how long that may last as she seems to have found someone - although I'm not sure about him but hope she'll not be hurt again after many past hurts that turned out to be one-night stands.

Anyway, I'm just saying the ups & downs of the older perspective in this dynamic
