Just curious why that would feel creepy? I think it is all in how you deliver the compliment. Even to a gal under 30.Who doesn't like to be paid a genuine compliment?

I suppose it has to do with the obvious age gap. Complimenting a woman in any way would also depend on the circumstances.

Close to 60 and still receive random compliments from strangers. usually on my legs, butt or perfume!

I take it you didn't mind. You and I are close enough in age that I might be one of the compliment givers. I doubt that I'd compliment you on your butt right out of the blue. That's not to say I wouldn't notice though.
