More than a year ago I started my journey with you.
So here is my latest update, the one I posted in the FYC thread.

My sweet wonderful friends.
For all the ones that are affected by the Big C, hugs and all my love.
I have been doing so great, till horrible pain started a few days ago. The left breast side is so painful, under my arm, under my breast. Its to the point that i m in pain every breath i take. So this afternoon, a talk with my breast surgeon and oncologist.
I so hope its chronic pain from the surgeries, chemo, radiation. But honestly for the first time I m scarred to death....just hoping I m wrong.
Right now my positive thoughts are far away, and thats so not me.
Writing this helps, because I know that so many of you are far worse off than me.
I know one thing, FYC, what ever happens I won't ever stop fighting YOU.
You won't get me, you won't get me down, I will keep silly, and loving life, whatever is in store for me.

So Emmy asked me to come update you all since by the time she got home, she was super tired and wanting to sleep.
She didn't find out much today other than she most likely has an infection from the implants. She will see her plastic surgeon tomorrow and is hopeful they will be able to tell her more then. She is in so much pain though and of course she is very scared. I am hoping they can confirm that it's an infection, and get her on antibiotics soon. Maybe a few pain pills even though I know how badly she hates to take them. But she will message me tomorrow as soon as she can and let me know what she finds out. In the mean time, please keep her in your thoughts.

Emmy had her appointment today and they are going to start her on Antibiotics. If in a week she hasn't felt any improvement, then they will admit her to the hospital for additional testing. They said it could just be left over pain from the burning of Radiation/and effects of chemo. Coupled with the pain of surgery. So they sent her home and she started her antibiotics and was a good girl (after I reminded her to stop being a stubborn mule) and took a pain pill and laid down.

So she is resting now.

Sassy thanks...I told her to to talk to doctors about any changes... pain.. look of skin .. anything.. as that is only way they can help her.... yes I have learned hard way.. broke leg and did not tell anyone it hurt. but when they help me dress I yell it hurt... doctor yell at me for days over that.

Knowing that emmy likes to be busy, and doing things, I hope she hasn't over done it on top of her Radiation/and effects of chemo and surgery.

But she did tell me that all her sleep and antibiotics made her feel better today. She said that she was taking a bath and putting on PJs and doing nothing today (I'll be shocked if she really does do nothing) So hopefully she really is just resting and behaving herself.
