Hey there. Just wanted to let you all know the next few days will be busy for me. My daughter is off to College Sunday, so we are having a going away party for her tomorrow and then the mad dash to get it all ready to go before early Sunday for the drive over the Mountains. When I am not helping her get ready, I'll probably be in the corner crying, but I will be sending Emmy lots of pictures come Sunday, so I will try and let you know if I hear more.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Suppose to get some rain this weekend here on this side of the state. We really need it though. Canadas fires have made Washington Super smokey. It's weird not having a good view of the Mountains. I know Canada sure needs the rain too.

Ugh. My heart is breaking for Emmy. She sent me a couple very sad messages with pictures of her sweet Kitty after he had been put to sleep. She has been crying all day, which is understandable. That has been her buddy for 17 years. Assie will be cremated with a very sweet blanket she made for him. :(:(

I did briefly get to talk to Emmy this morning. Of course she is sad ad crying. We decided it would be nicer if we could be cry babies together.

I'm currently sitting outside hiding out of view of the teenagers all hanging out in my yard. It's a beautiful night, I can finally see some stars since its not so Smokey, and the sound of about 30 teens, running around laughing makes me happy. I really am going to miss the chaos.

Empty nest is a real issue for a lot of us! We hated going from too many kids around to none! With 4 girls and coaching all those years, our house had been filled with teenagers! Hang in there, kiddo! :rose::rose::rose:
 
She sent me several messaged yesterday checking in on me. I sent her some pics and she told me to rest. So I did.
 
Just catching up after a bit of time away from Lit... Hope both of you wonderful ladies are doing well... :rose::rose::rose:
