So... Um....
If the right side of my jaw goes from weird throbbing to suddenly absolute numb, thats... Thats probably bad, right?

It's probably throbbing and going numb because you're stressed. When you sleep and you're dealing with things ( ie. anger, sadness, frustration); your body naturally tenses up.. including your mouth and jaw.
Calm yourself before you sleep. Or get a mouth guard. If it keeps persisting, you could have an oncoming infection in your jawline ( a cyst - yes you CAN get gum cysts which can go down to your jawbone and cause pain). But it's not common.
