lit in real life?

A few years back some awesomely wonderful people pulled together a litogether. I had the gracious opportunity to attend. I made friendships I still have today and memories that bring a smile to my face .

anyone ever met someone they played with on lit in real life? what was the experience like? it kind of gets me off to think about meeting some of the men i've played with on here in real life and making all the things we say and do to each other online into reality...

I met one lovely lady from Lit for lunch when I was travelling in her city - didn't progress any further that time, but I have a phone number should I find myself back there again.

A bunch of Aussies from an Aussie thread gather together semi-regularly.

I have. Twice... both on business trips when I was near where they lived. One was a good experience, the other a disaster. I had done some RP and online chatting with both of them. We had exchanged a fair amount of personal information and pictures. Both were married. The good experience was a nice dinner, a long conversation and eventually some hot sex back at my hotel. We saw each other several times over a two year period, but she finally cut it off saying she needed to work on her marriage. The bad experience was with someone who was much heavier than her picture but that was okay. After several hours of amazing sex she told me that she loved me and that she wanted me to get her pregnant. Fortunately I had kept my identity a secret and she couldn't track me down. I cancelled my email account, blocked her on Lit and disappeared from here for a few years.

Holy crap... that's scary. I guess being really sure who your meeting is the key! Sadly though I'd say my sense of adventure would over come common sense.

I had an account 11 yrs ago, met someone wonderful and even tho it was long distance we were together a few years and are still friends today... I'm sure I'd meet someone again if it all felt right

I've met a couple of Litsters IRL

Mostly just friendships, although with one, we did experiment at taking it further, but then decided that being just friends was fine.

I like meeting like-minded people, just in general, but haven't tried to organize a local Litogether yet.
