Lilliput and four in Brobdingnag

Why did I start this?

I now have all four chapters of Gulliver in Brobdingnag posted. Chapter 5 is well under way and other chapters are likely to follow.

Gulliver in Lilliput is now posted as well. The one and only episode because what can you do with six inch tall ladies?

Fives (with a stream of +++++++++) across the board. This is really a fabulous concept and you are executing it wonderfully. I can finally see how the stories that are sent to expansion magazines can be arousing.

Thank you. I currently have my little red-headed lovely as my wall paper until I make something else to replace her. I certainly didn't mean for such a large version of her to appear, but, considering that G is in Brob...(uhm...I can't remember how it's spelled :-( ), perhaps her size is forgivable.

Chapter 05

Chapter 05 of Gulliver's Travels in Brobdingnag has just been submitted.

I was unsure whether to put the first chapter in Novels and Novellas or not. Now I know that this was the correct choice. Gulliver is travelling on and on...

Jonathan Swift had to write sequels to his original Travels. At this rate I might equal his output.

PS. I like your pictures, Ann. If you could post them so that the nipples were as large as half a man's head then they would fit in Brobdingnag. I don't think they would fit in a Literotica post. Pity.

Who will Og take on next?

Chaucer? I know his were more than a bit randy to begin with, but I would love to see something along the lines of the Miller's Tale (one of the funniest stories I've ever read, but you have to read it in the original for it to really hit you). It will warm you up (and us!) before you take on the Latin authors.

Chaucer? I can and do read him aloud in the original but whether I could write in his English? Not sure.

If I did, how many on Literotica could read and understand it? Would it count as writing in another language?

Dampy has the same problem with Hindi. Who could read anything she wrote in Hindi?

I could probably, with great difficulty, read something written in Chaucerian English, but I probably wouldn't want to. I think the same thing could be said about most of the writers here. There are about 60,000 stories on the site that are written in easily understandable English so why should I struggle through something that is so hard to read.

Because understandable English isn't the same as a great read? Understandable English doesn't leave one with the same slowly dawning appreciation of what has just been said?

Okay, I know, I'm a little weird. My nipples get hard and I smile when I think about the Miller's Tale. I suppose, instead of being lazy and asking Og for the pleasure of reading one of his efforts in Chaucerian English, I should just write one of my own.

On a side note, wouldn't you like to see "hir" come back, but for non-gender specific use? I suppose we still need a him/her, but it would be nice, as a technical writer, to stop having to avoid "their" constructions without worrying about being politically correct and having as many "hers" as I have "his."

Chapter 05 of Brobdingnag is posted. More being written.

Will this travel ever end?

"hir". I doubt it will catch on. So many people have trouble with normal English. That was a direct quote from The Reeve's Tale. I haven't attempted writing like Chaucer yet. I'm too busy being Jonathan Swift and writing my Valentine's Day competition entry which reverts to my normal length. Currently 6,800 words and several A4 pages to go.

My Valentine's Day entry is posted. "Squirrel Valentine"

It is far too long.

I have two other stories waiting approval or rejection. I tried "The Giant Squid" - see thread "Og does tentacle porn" but that one may get rejected. I included a note to the webmasters to point out that this story may break the rules.

The other has been a long time writing. It is called "Where did I put the sex?" which comes from an old post on the frequent discussion whether the sex in Literotica stories is essential and integral to the story or an optional extra. In my stories the latter often applies.

My Valentine's Day story is also too long. It is about 17,000 words, and it has only four pages allocated so the sex part is omitted. I have PMed Laurel about it and I hope something is done.

I also have a story submitted about a woman and her unicorn. When the two of them use his horn that will probably be accepted but some of the other things might be considered beastiality since that is what they would be if this were some other equine.

On most of my stories, the sex is not only essential, it IS the story and if you omitted it, you would have just a couple of paragraphs. On myu Val storyh, and one other, I could rewrite them toning down the sex and they could be printed in a mainstream magazine.
