Makin' bacon

I also do the oven method.

I put mine on a cooling rack in the sheet pan so it's not sitting in grease.

Me too. I make a huge batch, then freeze it, so that I can reheat it in the microwave when son and friends descend and demand instant food :)

I like to chop up some bacon and throw it in the skillet. Then add in some diced onion and bell peppers, and after a couple minutes beat a few eggs and add them in. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and tabasco, then sprinkle in some cheese and you have yourself a damn fine breakfast scramble.

AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF BACON.

I notice no cukes in there, Miles.

You're a genius Lally. I am the house of extra children. I'll need to try this.

Noe - did you ride out the storm?

We got a lot of Rain, and two Tornadoes went over, but nothing more than fallen trees, here, Mom's house had some minor flooding, and her AC broke, but I fixed it.

Sounds like a pain but still good - no major damage!

Soo for the sake of science I did some bacon in the oven and some in the microwave. The microwave bacon is PERFECT for sandwiches or BLTs. Crispy, flat and not too greasy.

The oven bacon took longer than I expected and never really crisped up, maybe if I left it longer but everything else was finished so I rushed it a little. It was still good, definitely a viable option for a side to eggs and pancakes.
