Use your critical thinking: If they're easy to find before the massage, are they going to be easy to find after it?I guess I need to go to a large city to look but then how do you know if someone is legit or just about trying to rob ya ass
Are you in the USA? This is basically never a risk, unless you're making yourself very very vulnerable in a stupid and reckless way. For example, being drunk af at a dark bar late at night and taking a stranger up on an offer to massage you for money right now.
If you find someone on a website, it shouldn't be hard to figure out whether they've been on there for a decent amount of time. If they seem like they're catering toward repeat business, then they aren't going to shit down the well by mistreating a client that way.
If you're the one contacting them for this, the risk is practically zero. If they're the one trying to hard-sell you into bringing cash somewhere or e-paying a full-fee "deposit" in advance, that's sketchy.
Escorts sometimes will legitimately expect modest deposits in advance, but the deposit isn't usually for the full fee and this is way less common among male masseurs than it is among female escorts. Asking for a deposit isn't automatically sketchy but use your intuition.
You don't have to be paranoid about this stuff. Treat it like an ATM: Most of them are legit and in safe environments, but there are some you wouldn't be stupid enough to try using. You know it when you see it.
