My gift to you both...

Slips two gifts outside the door not wishing to intrude...


I had chosen the concept of my gifts with thoughtful care. I wanted them to receive the present of their hearts desire this christmas. With the magic of this realm they would receive such a gift.

The beautifully wrapped boxes each contained an exquisite white rose with a single thorn. Also contained within the box also was a a hand written instruction.

I could not turn back time or change past errors.The magic of the rose could evoke a memory, a dream sequence, even provide the trappings for a sensual evening with a special someone. It could also bring forth an x-box, clothing, a new toy; pretty much any material thing big enough to hold between two hands.

It was a gift of promise...

"The desire of your heart resides within this special rose.

Close your eyes and gently press your thumb into the single thorn.

Whatever you desire in this moment is my gift to you.

May your christmases be blessed with love and hope.

Snowed in ...

*Wood stacked high, the fire blazing and the kitchen cupboards packed with plenty of provisions. The fridge and freezer also full. Warm clothes at the ready along with coats and boots and hats and scarves and gloves ... in fact everything in preparation for being snowed in. Sips at my coffee cup and nibbles on a cookie as I stare into the dark silence and watch the snowflakes flutter silently to the ground.*

I'm not sure that I'm especially nice, though you're a nice guy so why would anyone be less that nice with you?
