Way back in the day when I lived in Colorado and Yahoo still had their local chat rooms, I convinced one of the regulars in the chat room to have a pool party where skinny dipping was expected. I recruited a bunch of people but do you think that I could acutely make it? Nope, could not get out of the house. I heard there was a lot of nakedness.

Unlucky. That's a hell of a wingman story, though.

Glad we have survived another month ... that is always a victory.

Regarding the snow, since I primarily am at home all of the time, I am rooting for a good amount to actually break out the snow blower and have snow fun. It would be great if it is a good packing snow too. I love making "Calvin & Hobbes" type snowmen.

I'm not sure that wanting snow is an "unpopular" opinion. Actually, this is a great time to have a massive snow storm since most of us are stuck in our homes because of the pandemic and social distancing. It would be kind of nice to open the window and watch the snow falling .. that's kind of a calming, peaceful activity.

Plus, nobody wants to demonstrate or protest in the snow ... and if they do, they probably would have a massive snowball fight with the counter-protesters. Now that would be interesting to watch ... snow forts on the National Mall ...

I would not mind some snow since it has been so long since we had anything of significance. Actually love it when it is snowing but hate when I have to shovel it. I remember that back to back huge snowstorms maybe 10 years or so ago.

Hard to believe that January is almost over. Time does fly. Hope everyone stays warm this weekend.

With slugger's suggestion of strip poker with his wife, it made me wonder how many people have actually played 'Spin the Bottle', 'Truth or Dare', 'Strip Poker' and/or gone Skinny dipping with others of the opposite sex?

I have never played spin the bottle or truth or date. When I was on spring break during college I was once involved in a strip poker game with the girls staying in the hotel room next to ours. Only a couple of items of clothing had been removed before one of the girls was not able to hold her alcohol and projectile vomited all over the cards and table which ended the game right then so never got to see anything interesting. I did do the skinny dipping a couple of times which was a lot of fun.

So who has done what?

Closest to skinny dipping I ever did was to get into a hot tub in college with my then girlfriend and, I think, three other couples. We all had bathing suits on, but each couple "distanced" themselves from the others, and there were clearly "Roman hands and Russian fingers" at work underneath the suds. I don't think anything went so far as to produce any orgasms, but I (probably induced by too much beer ahead of time) stupidly shared with the crowd that the water was too hot for me to get it up. Never lived it down --and I still socialize with some of those couples! (my then girlfriend became my first wife and now is my ex -- but not because I couldn't get it up in the hot tub . . . . or was THAT the problem we could never work out . . . . ?)

I've only ever skinny dipped with the wife.

Skinny dipped with my siblings when we were kids. Nothing happened obviously. Never had a friends group to do anything like that with so far as an adult.

That is a bummer. Something does not really have to happen but it definitely raises the sexual tension level in Teen or later years. I would certainly be a willing participant if the chance ever arises again. It is interesting that you added the "so far" which must mean you would also be willing if you get the chance.

I was at Snowshoe one time and there was a huge outdoor hot tub. I remember sitting in it with probably 25 or more people, most were strangers, so everyone had on bathing suits, at least as far as I could tell. It was cold out so your hair would freeze so had to periodically dunk under the water to thaw out your hair. On the same trip, several of us had rented a smaller, private hut tub the day before. We got there on-time and just got into the hot tub before the couple before us had a chance to get out. None of us cared that they were there but they kept giving each other a "what do we looks". Finally the guy looked at his girlfriend, shrugged and reached back under their towels to pull out their bathing suits. We never realized that they were in the hot tub naked. lol Should have paid more attention.

Most hot tubs are too hot for me. Not from getting it up standpoint but more like I feel like I am a lobster boiling after a while. Still fun. How can any guy complain when there are women in bikinis or less around.

I have been skinny dipping on several occasions. The last two times were many years ago with my first wife, my friend and his girlfriend. The last time was at the girlfriend's parents' house in a private pool, but the first time was in the Atlantic Ocean on the Jersey Shore. Invigorating!

Well, I would just say that it isn't the size of the tool that really counts, it's the skill of the user, and someone who is truly skilled can take any tool that is handed to them and do something extraordinary with it.

Star -- Yeah, finally dug my car out today because I had to run a couple of errands. I guess here in part of Silver Spring (north), we got between 4 and 5 inches. Not a blizzard, but just enough to be a pain in the ass! Dog has a hard time finding the right place to do his business as well. Oh well . . . . now you know how exciting my life is these days!
