Well, right, that is the well-known problem with Maslow's Hierarchy....we sometimes live simultaneously in the different levels. It is just a hypothetical model.
Okay....
5 people said BDSM is in the 1-4 range for them
10 people said BDSM is in the 5-8 range for them
5 people said BDSM overlapped across the range
(Someone check that, I did the tally by hand!)
I guess we are all fairly different.
I will just add that as a dominant I found reading the female submissives answers to be very interesting. Thanks to everyone for the replies.
